Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs of ground moose meat (or other game meat)

1 ½ teaspoons Perfeito Pork Seasoning* or Perfeito All-Purpose Seasoning

3 tablespoons lard

Hamburger buns

Tomato (sliced)

Red onion (sliced)

Cheese (optional)

Mayonnaise

Instructions:
1. Prepare the meat:
In a large bowl, mix the moose meat with Perfeito. Knead the mixture well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
2. Shape the patties:
Divide the seasoned meat into 4 equal portions. Using a metal ring (size of the buns), shape the portions into burger patties.
3. Cook the patties:
Heat an iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the lard. Brown the patties on both sides to your desired level of doneness.
4. Add cheese (optional):
If you like cheese, place a slice on top of the patty as it finishes cooking to melt.
5. Assemble the burgers:
Toast your buns to prevent them from soaking up the meat juices, then stack the cooked patties on the buns. Add your desired toppings, such as sliced tomato, red onion, and a dollop of mayo.
