- 1 piece of T-bone of approximately 2 pounds
- 1 red onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of lemon juice
- 2 sprigs of fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon PERFEITO NO.1BUY NOW - PERFEITO NO.1
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Season the meat with PERFEITO NO.1 and set aside for 10 minutes.
Cut the onion into thin petals and crush the garlic with the side of a knife.
Place the meat in a deep container and add the lemon juice, oregano leaves, onion and garlic and cover it. Set aside for 8 to 12 hours under refrigeration.
Take it out of the fridge half an hour before preparing.
In an iron skillet, add the oil, butter and brown the T-bone, starting with the side with the fat layer, then one side of the meat.
When turning, to brown the other side, add the onions from the marinade, discarding the lemon juice.
Serve the meat at the desired doneness:
a) Rare (very red-pink): 125-130 degrees F; Estimated Cook Time: 8 minutes.
b) Medium Rare (pink): 130-135 degrees F; Estimated Cook Time: 9 minutes.
c) Medium (light pink): 135-140 degrees F; Estimated Cook Time: 10 minutes.
d) Medium-Well: 140-150 degrees F; Estimated Cook Time: 11 minutes.
